C and I stayed up kinda late on Wednesday night to make desserts and such. Then went to bed and cuddled up for the night after I blasted some droids on the Xbox for a while.
Next morning, I got up and Jacob had already taken the dogs out to take care of their business, so I didn’t have to freeze my arse off when I was half awake, which is always good. He played video games all morning, while I baked the turkey and set up different things for turkey day. I did take a break to watch Batman Begins with him though, while I made up one of the snack trays while sitting indian style at the coffee table. I liked the movie, but I was ready to kick the rickety dvd player we have. The movie kept skipping constantly, which was a great annoyance. I thought it was cool to see Qui Con Jin as a bad guy.
Anyhow, here was out menu for turkey day.
Turkey (of course)
Bread crumb stuffing (traditional)
Vegie platter with various raw veggies and ranch dip.
crackers and cheese
chocolate and butterscotch pies
jello (cherry with peaches in it)
green bean casserole
banana nut muffins
orange cranberry muffins
All in all, good stuff. C’s family came over, and we had a good time. I just wish some of my family could have made it. But they’re all up in the great white north, over a thousand miles away, and then some.
After the family all left, we relaxed and enjoyed the evening. C watched Survivor and The Apprentice while Jacob and I watched Star Wars, Ep. I in the other room.
Last night rocked too! Massages moving into good luvins is a good thing.
